Fantastic comfort Chinese food with great pricing. A large variety of options as well. We come here all the time!
Good comfort food. Orders were all ready within 20mins for pick up. Woman answering phone and behind counter was not friendly, but our order was quick and correct- that is what matters to us. Food the fourth time we ordered was quite a bit greasier than before, quality wasn't like previous times. We always only got pickup, always ordered the same things. Good portions- had enough for leftovers- the docking of the star was for consistency in quality.
Recently, my family and I visited this restaurant that specializes in Chinese cuisine, which holds a special place in our New York restaurant culture. Initially, we were disappointed to learn that they were unable to prepare General Tso's shrimp due to an issue with the breading. However, being already at the restaurant, we decided to give it a chance. To accommodate my son's allergies to sesame and soy sauce, we ordered a large shrimp fried rice. I must say, the way they catered to his dietary needs with that dish was truly amazing and commendable. The flavors were on point, and it left us impressed. My partner and I opted for the shrimp with broccoli, which, although not exactly in line with the "New York" style we're accustomed to, still managed to satisfy our taste buds. The dish was well-prepared and enjoyable. I would give the food a 3.5 out of5, as it fell slightly short of our expectations. While it didn't quite capture the essence of "New York" Chinese cuisine, it was still good. As for the restaurant's decoration, I would also rate it a 3.5 out of 5, as it lacked the vibrant atmosphere we usually associate with Chinese restaurants. However, where this establishment truly excelled was in its customer service. We were delighted by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and ability to accommodate my son's dietary restrictions deserves nothing short of a perfect score. Thus, I would give the customer service a well-deserved 5 out of 5. Overall, our experience at this Chinese restaurant was a mixed bag. While the food and decoration fell slightly short of our expectations, the outstanding customer service left a lasting impression. If you're looking for a place that goes above and beyond to cater to dietary needs and provides excellent service, this restaurant is worth a visit. Just keep in mind that the food might not perfectly match your "New York" Chinese cuisine expectations.
This is excellent Chinese food! The owner is incredibly nice. I ordered lunch for 7 people, a variety of everything. I have a personal way to rate Chinese takeout places I've used for many years, esp growing up in NY. If the BBQ ribs appetizer and Hot and Sour soup are legit, you can tell the Chinese food will be good or bad. Those are two items that a Chinese food restaurant will put love into if they are a quality restaurant. Both these items were fantastic.. Ribs outstanding. We ordered a little off everything and this place was fantastic and everyone mentioned how good it was!! I wish I could find decent quality like this in Miami and Ft Lauderdale, I'd order weekly. They have a friggin drive through window!!! How sweet is that? Highly recommend thier tasty quality food. I will be back next West coast trip. Yummy Chinese :)
Great egg rolls, spring rolls, hot and sour soup. We get the lo mein with spicy chili oil a lot. Chow mein is also good.
